Matthew L. Altman
Managing Partner

Matt shares overall responsibilities for all management and investment activities of the firm. Matt has primary responsibility for Arlington’s healthcare investments and shares responsibility for the firm’s aerospace and defense investments. Matt has closed leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and growth equity investments representing approximately $3.0 billion in value during his 20 year career in private equity. Matt’s private equity experience encompasses a wide range of industries including healthcare services, aerospace, defense, industrial manufacturing, specialty distribution and media. Prior to joining Arlington in 2001, Matt worked at Stonington Partners, a $1.0 billion private equity fund established in 1994 by the principals of Merrill Lynch Capital Partners. At Stonington, Matt worked on several healthcare transactions including Packard BioScience Corporation and Obagi Medical Products. Both companies ultimately completed initial public offerings before successful sale transactions. Matt’s responsibilities at Stonington included originating and conducting due diligence of investment opportunities, structuring and negotiating transactions, arranging public and private debt financing, designing management incentive plans and participating in portfolio company management and realizations. Matt was also directly involved in the monitoring and realization of Merrill Lynch Capital Partners investments.

Matt earned an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Matt graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with a B.A. in Economics.

Matt currently serves on the Board of Directors of Everest Clinical Research, Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing and Riverpoint Medical. Matt has previously been a member of the Board of Directors of Advanced Health Media, Avalign Technologies, Cambridge Major Laboratories, Chandler/May, Cherry Creek Radio, Consolidated Precision Products, Endeavor Robotics, Main Line, MB Aerospace, Micron Technologies, Molecular Products, New Vision Group, Ontario Systems, Tex Tech Industries, and United Flexible.

Michael H. Lustbader
Managing Partner

Michael shares overall responsibilities for all management and investment activities of the firm. Michael joined upon Arlington’s formation in 1999. Michael has primary responsibility for the firm’s government services investments and shares responsibility for the firm’s software and business services investments. Michael has over 20 years of private equity and merger and acquisition transactional experience having been involved in approximately 50 transactions. Prior to Arlington, Michael worked at Lazard Frères & Co. based out of New York in the Telecommunications and Technology practice, where he focused on advising corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions. Michael’s transaction experience includes MCI Communications’ $43 billion merger with WorldCom – which at one point was the largest non-bank transaction of all-time and 360 Communications’ $6 billion merger with ALLTEL Corporation. While at Lazard, Michael also executed a number of transactions in IT services, including Cap Gemini/Beechwood, Intelligent Electronics/Xerox Corporation, and GE Capital Consulting/Metamor Worldwide.

Michael received an A.B. magna cum laude from Harvard College.

Michael currently serves on the Board of Directors of Intellectual Technology, Inc., J&J Worldwide Services, Inc., Octo Consulting Group, TRP Infrastructure, and Tyto Athene. Michael previously served on the Board of Directors of Apogen Technologies, BlueHalo, Centauri, Compusearch Software Systems, Novetta Solutions, MicroPact, Polaris Alpha, Quantum Spatial, SECOR International, SignalTree Solutions, and Zemax.

Peter M. Manos
Managing Partner

Peter shares overall responsibilities for all management and investment activities of the firm. Peter has primary responsibility for Arlington’s aerospace/defense investments and shares responsibility for the firm’s healthcare investments. Peter has over 27 years of private equity, public equity, and merger and acquisition transactional experience and has completed 40 transactions in a variety of industries representing over $4.0 billion in aggregate enterprise value. Prior to joining Arlington in 2002, Peter worked at The Carlyle Group, a Washington, D.C.-based global private equity firm with approximately $200 billion of committed capital under management, and Capitol Partners, a Washington, D.C.-based private equity firm focused on technology, scale and infrastructure-intensive markets. As a Managing Partner with shared overall management responsibilities and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Capitol Partners, Peter built the firm’s healthcare practice and successfully sourced and executed numerous transactions.

While at Carlyle, Peter was part of the core aerospace/defense group and was part of the original healthcare buyout team. At Carlyle, Peter successfully closed over $1 billion of transactions.

Peter’s principal investing experience also includes work at Fayez Sarofim & Co., a Houston-based public equity investment firm with over $35 billion under management. While at Fayez Sarofim, Peter evaluated and made investments in the airline and automotive aftermarket industries. Peter’s transactional experience also includes numerous merger and acquisition transactions and initial public offerings as an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and at Peers & Co., a subsidiary of the Long Term Credit Bank of Japan.

Peter’s private equity and transactional experience is complemented by his operating experience in founding, developing and running iFINANCE, a venture capital funded credit infrastructure company that provides solutions to merchants and financial institutions.

Peter earned an M.B.A. with an emphasis on finance from the Harvard Business School and an B.A. from Stanford University.

Peter is currently on the Board of Directors of Cadence Aerospace, Forged Solutions Group, Qarbon Aerospace, Radius Aerospace, and Tex Tech Industries. Peter has previously been a member of the Board of Directors of Advanced Health Media, Avalign Technologies, Cambridge Major Labs, Chandler/May, Consolidated Precision Products, Endeavor Robotics, MB Aerospace, Molecular Products, Ontario Systems, Quantum Spatial, SECOR International, TSI Group, and United Flexible.

David C. Wodlinger
Managing Partner

David joined Arlington in 2006 and is responsible for investing in the government contracting, technology-enabled business services and software and IT services sectors. Prior to joining Arlington, David worked in Deutsche Bank’s Financial Sponsors Group in New York. While at Deutsche Bank, David worked on the origination, diligence, structuring, and financing of leveraged buyouts, including Blackstone’s acquisition of New Skies Satellites, Kelso’s acquisition of Insurance Auto Auctions, Hicks Muse’s acquisition of Swett & Crawford, and Carlyle, CD&R, and Merrill Lynch Private Equity’s $15.0 billion buyout of Hertz. Since joining Arlington, David has completed more than 40 acquisitions including BlueHalo, Cambridge Major Labs, Centauri, Compusearch Software Systems, Micron Technologies, Novetta Solutions, Polaris Alpha, Quantum Spatial and Systems Planning and Analysis. Prior to Deutsche Bank, David worked as a management consultant focused on the U.S. Intelligence Community.

David graduated cum laude, with an A.B. in Economics from Georgetown University.

David currently serves on the Board of Directors at BlueHalo and Systems Planning and Analysis. David previously served on the Board of Directors of Cambridge Major Labs, Centauri, Micron Technologies, Novetta Solutions, Polaris Alpha, and Quantum Spatial.

C. Malcolm Little
Partner

Malcolm joined Arlington in 2014 and is responsible for investing in the healthcare sector. Prior to joining Arlington, Malcolm was a Vice President at Avista Capital Partners where he focused primarily on investments in the healthcare industry. Prior to Avista, Malcolm was an Associate at Oak Hill Capital Partners where he was responsible for investments in the firm’s Business and Financial Services industry group. Malcolm also worked at Bear, Stearns & Co. in its Leveraged Finance group.

Malcolm earned an M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School and holds a B.S. degree, with distinction, from the University of Virginia.

Malcolm currently serves on the Board of Directors of Everest Clinical Research and Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing. Malcolm has previously been a member of the Board of Directors of Avalign Technologies, MicroPact, Molecular Products, and Ontario Systems.

Gordon Auduong
Principal

Gordon joined Arlington as a Vice President in 2018 and now serves as a Principal. Prior to joining Arlington, Gordon was at Harvest Partners where he focused on investments in the industrials and business services sectors. Before Harvest, Gordon was an Associate at Court Square Capital Partners where he was responsible for investments in the firm’s Industrials industry group. Gordon also worked at Deutsche Bank in its Consumer and Business Services Group.

Gordon earned an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the College of William and Mary.

Gordon currently serves on the Board of Directors of J&J Worldwide Services, Millstone Medical Outsourcing, Riverpoint Medical, Tex Tech Industries, and Tyto Athene.

A. Bilal Noor
Principal

Bilal joined Arlington Capital Partners in 2015 and focuses on investing in the healthcare, business services, software, IT, and aerospace sectors. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment process including sourcing, diligence, transaction structuring, financing, and executing post-closing growth and add-on acquisition strategies. Bilal has executed several private equity transactions across a number of industries.

Prior to joining Arlington, Bilal worked at H.I.G. Capital, where he focused on private equity buyout opportunities ranging from $150 million to over $1 billion in enterprise value. Prior to that, Bilal was a member of the Leveraged Finance Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he covered a wide range of industries, including business services, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Bilal received his M.B.A. degree from Harvard Business School and holds a B.S. degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia.

Bilal currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cadence Aerospace, Everest Clinical Research, Radius Aerospace and TRP Infrastructure Services. Bilal previously served on the Board of Directors of United Flexible and Zemax.

Henry H. Albers
Vice President

Henry joined Arlington in 2018. Prior to joining Arlington, Henry was an Associate at The Carlyle Group where he focused on buyout and strategic minority investments in the aerospace, defense, and government services sectors. Prior to Carlyle, Henry was an Analyst at Morgan Stanley in its industrials investment banking group where he advised clients on a variety of M&A and capital markets transactions.

Henry holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.B.A. in Finance, summa cum laude, from The College of William & Mary.

Henry currently serves on the Board of Directors of BlueHalo, Forged Solutions Group, Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing, and Qarbon Aerospace.

Mark Giragosian
Vice President

Mark joined Arlington Capital Partners as a Vice President in 2022. Prior to joining Arlington, Mark was a Vice President at Thomas H. Lee Partners where he focused on investments in the healthcare industry. Previously, Mark also worked in private equity as an Associate at Linden Capital Partners, in operations and strategy at PathAI, and in investment banking at Morgan Stanley where he concentrated on the healthcare and consumer sectors. He began his career as a professional ballet dancer with the Joffrey Ballet and serves on the Joffrey Board of Directors.

Mark holds a B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar and a Ford Scholar.

Benjamin J. Ramundo
Vice President

Ben joined Arlington in 2014. Prior to joining Arlington, Ben worked for Jefferies’ Aerospace, Defense, and Government Services investment banking group. While at Jefferies, Ben advised clients on a wide range of transaction activity, including leveraged buyouts, strategic M&A and debt financings. Ben also held summer positions with Raytheon as a co-op and holds a clearance.

Ben graduated cum laude from Georgetown University where he received a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Economics.

Ben serves on the Board of Directors of Intellectual Technology, Inc., Octo Consulting, Stellant Systems and Systems Planning and Analysis. Ben previously served on the Board of Directors of Centauri and Endeavor Robotics and worked on the firm’s past investments in MicroPact, Novetta, and Polaris Alpha.

Christopher A. Sakara
Director of Capital Markets

Chris joined Arlington in 2021 as Director of Capital Markets. In his role, Chris oversees Arlington’s capital markets activities related to new investments and existing portfolio companies. Additionally, Chris is responsible for managing and helping grow the firm’s lending relationships with investment banks, direct lenders, and other capital providers. Prior to joining Arlington, Chris spent his entire career at RBC Capital Markets, where he worked in a variety of leveraged finance roles including capital markets, origination, and sales & trading. While at RBC Capital Markets, Chris advised clients on a wide range of debt financings, including leveraged buyouts, refinancing, and recapitalizations.

Chris graduated cum laude from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in International Business.

Andrew Whicker
Associate

Andy joined Arlington as an Associate in 2022. Prior to joining Arlington, Andy worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Leveraged Finance Group, where he also completed a summer internship. While at BofAML, Andy advised clients on leveraged buyout, dividend recapitalization, and other debt financing transactions across a variety of industries, including business services, consumer & retail, diversified industrials and healthcare.

Andy graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University where he received a B.S. in Accounting.

Brennan Novak
Associate

Brennan joined Arlington as an Associate in 2021. Prior to joining Arlington, Brennan worked at Citigroup in the Media and Telecommunications Investment Banking Group, where he also completed a summer internship. While at Citigroup, Brennan advised clients on a variety of transactions including mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity and debt offerings, and corporate carve-outs.

Brennan graduated cum laude with an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University.

Diana Leung
Associate

Diana joined Arlington as an Associate in 2022. Prior to joining Arlington, Diana worked at Bank of America in the Leveraged Finance Group, where she also completed two summer internships. While at Bank of America, Diana advised clients on leveraged buyouts and other debt financing transactions across a variety of industries, including healthcare and telecommunications.

Diana graduated cum laude from Georgetown University, where she received a B.S. in Finance and Accounting and a minor in English.

Griffin Leach
Associate

Griffin joined Arlington as an Associate in 2021. Prior to joining Arlington, Griffin worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Leveraged Finance Group, where he also completed a summer internship. While at BofAML, Griffin advised clients on leveraged buyout and other debt financing transactions across a variety of industries, including business services, consumer & retail and healthcare.

Griffin received a B.S. degree in Commerce, with distinction, from the University of Virginia.

John C. Holmes
Associate

John joined Arlington as an Associate in 2020. Prior to joining Arlington, John worked at Barclays Investment Bank in the Financial Institutions Group, where he also completed a summer internship. While at Barclays, John advised clients on a variety of transactions including mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, equity and debt offerings, and corporate carve-outs.

John received B.A. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Economics from Georgetown University.

Kevin Coughlin
Associate

Kevin joined Arlington as an Associate in 2021. Prior to joining Arlington, Kevin worked at Credit Suisse in the Financial Sponsors Group, where he supported sponsor-backed transaction and leveraged finance execution processes across a range of industries. While at Credit Suisse, Kevin advised financial sponsor clients on a variety of transactions including leveraged buyouts, leveraged finance and high yield offerings, mergers & acquisitions, and SPACs.

Kevin holds a B.S. degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia.

Yash Nigam
Associate

Yash joined Arlington as an Associate in 2021. Prior to joining Arlington, Yash was a member of the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he focused on the life sciences, medical technology, and healthcare services industry verticals. While at BofAML, Yash advised strategics and financial sponsors on mergers & acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and capital markets transactions.

Yash received a B.S. in Biophysics from Duke University along with minors in History and Finance.

Brian Foist joined Arlington in 2021 as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Compliance Officer.   He is responsible for the management of the firm’s administrative and compliance operations.   Prior to joining Arlington, Brian spent five years as the CFO and CCO of Northlane Capital Partners.  Before Northlane, Brian was the COO, CFO, and CCO of Global Environment Fund for over 15 years.

Brian received his B.A. in Finance, and a minor in Economics from Xavier University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Paulette D. Brown
Vice President of Fund Accounting

Paulette Brown joined Arlington in 2021 as a Controller.  Prior to joining Arlington, Paulette’s private equity experience included serving for twelve years as the Controller at ACON Investments, LLC, four years in the Controller role at Perseus, LLC, and as the Accounting Manager at Thayer Capital Partners for five years, each Washington, D.C.-based private equity firms. Paulette has also worked as a Senior Accountant in the Corporate Brokerage Division of Insignia/ESG, a commercial real estate firm, and at Manor Care and its former subsidiary, Choice Hotels International, where she was a Senior Accountant and Manager of the Franchise Billing Department.

Paulette receive her B.B.A. in Accounting from Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Christiana Yuen
Vice President of Finance

Christiana joined Arlington in 2022 as Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining Arlington, Christiana was a Fund Accounting Manager at Sands Capital Ventures where she was responsible for accounting, financial analysis, and reporting for the private market investing strategies. Christiana’s private equity experience includes providing fund administration services as a manager at Venture Management Services and serving in the role of Assistant Controller – Funds at Global Environment Fund. Christiana began her career in PricewaterhouseCoopers’s tax practice.

Christiana holds a B.S. in Commerce degree with concentration in Accounting from the University of Virginia and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Christine D. Foster
Accounting Manager

Christine joined Arlington as a Senior Accountant in 2018. Prior to joining Arlington, Christine worked as a Fund Accountant at GTIS Partners, a real estate investment firm in New York City. Prior to GTIS, she worked as an Internal Auditor at Prudential Financial in the Annuities and Retirement department of the insurance company. Christine also spent several years at PwC auditing companies in the alternative investment industry.

Christine earned a M.B.A. degree with concentration in Public Accounting and a B.S. in Accounting degree from St. John’s University in New York.
